Wisconsin Teacher Busted for Drugs

(Brodhead, Wisconsin) A 31-year-old teacher with the Brodhead School District, Katherine L. Mielke, was arrested yesterday for allegedly possessing drugs.

Mielke faces charges of possession of heroin, possession of oxycodone, possession of hydrocodone and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Katherine L. Mielke was arrested after a traffic stop made by deputies from the Rock County Special Investigations Unit and a Rock County sheriff's deputy on West State Highway 11 and North Roherty Road.

Deputies searched the vehicle and the drugs were found. They said they found six packs of heroin with a total weight of 1.6 grams, two oxycodone pills and eight hydrocodone pills.

Reportedly, Sheriff's deputies have been investigating Mielke for several weeks. She was booked into custody at the Rock County Jail.
