Panama City School Board Shooting




This is the full video of yesterday's shooting and the routine discussion which led up to the shooting. It's 6:11 long with actual shots fired starting just before the 6:00 mark.

Thank God the shooter, Clayton Allen Duke, 56, was a lousy shot.

Duke shot twice at Superintendent Bill Husfelt from about eight feet away and squeezed off several more rounds before security guard Mike Jones, a former Panama City police officer, bolted in, exchanged gunfire and shot Duke in the leg or side.

Duke then fatally shot himself, police Sgt. Jeff Becker said.

It's believed that Duke, an ex-convict, had a death wish.
