Florida Woman Accused of Possessing Child Porn

(Pascagoula, Mississippi) A 19-year-old local woman, Courtney Lynn Necaise, was arrested Thursday for allegedly possessing child pornography on her computer.

According to Sheriff Mike Byrd, an advanced technology system is being used to catch people downloading and saving child porn on their computers.

Byrd said Necaise had downloaded and saved images of children in sexual situations as young a 6 years old.

"This was not teenagers she was looking at," Byrd said. "This was small children, anywhere from 6 to 11 years old."

Necaise was booked onto custody at the Jackson County Adult Detention Center and released Friday on $25,000 bail. Reportedly, Necaise faces up to 40 years in prison if convicted.
