(Menominee, Michigan) A 33-year-old local man, Louis Wayne Cuff, has been accused of felony food stamp trafficking.
Cuff allegedly purchased $141.78-worth of lobster, steak and drinks with food stamps and then resold the items at 50 cents on the dollar.
A receipt found in a store parking lot prompted a notification to the Michigan Department of Human Services (DHS) via the department's Facebook page. Consequently, an investigation was launched.
Cuff faces a possible five-year term in prison and a fine of $10,000. (h/t slwlion)

It's good to see that food stamp allotments are keeping people in lobster and steak. From TRKOF.
