Teacher Gets Probation for Bomb Threat - Updated

(Denver, Colorado) Former teacher Jennifer Gomes has pleaded guilty to false reporting of explosives and was sentenced to four years of mental health probation.

(Denver, Colorado) A 42-year-old gym teacher at Escuela de Guadalupe, Jennifer Gomes, has been accused of initiating a bomb threat at her school because she allegedly didn't want to go to work.

Gomes reportedly left a note at the Catholic elementary school's main entrance which stated "there is a bomb inside." She faces a count of false reporting of explosives, a felony.

According to police, Gomes admitted to leaving the note. She was booked into custody and released on $2,000 bond.
