Chrissie Hynde's Vegan Restaurant Closes

(Akron, Ohio) Veteran rocker Chrissie Hynde has announced the closure of her four-year-old vegan restaurant, The VegiTerranean, in downtown Akron, citing the poor economy.
“I'd like to thank everybody who helped me try to fulfill my dream,” the message from Hynde said.

“I discovered that vegan cuisine in Ohio has become more appreciated than I imagined.”
Really?

Of course, it probably didn't help that owner Chrissie Hynde has repeatedly marginalized the potential customer base by shouting to the media that all meat-eaters are terrorists.

[Add.] From an email:
If "she discovered that vegan cuisine in Ohio has become more appreciated than she imagined," and her restaurant could not be sustained, she must not have imagined that there would be enough business to sustain a vegan restaurant.

So why did she open it originally? She must have expected it to fail but it lasted longer than she imagined it would?
Heh.
