"Da Dumpt, Da Dumpt……….Sucks 2 Be U!"
Airmen of the USAF 345th Training Squadron are being questioned.
The U.S. Air Force said on Thursday that commanders are investigating a photograph showing a group of airmen posing with an open casket in which a fellow airman lay as if dead with a noose around his neck.Reportedly, the photo was taken last August and, thus far, the exact message being conveyed is unknown. Whatever the message is, seemingly 15 members of the United States military are in agreement.
The photo shows about 15 airmen in military fatigues posing with crossed forearms around a metallic coffin held upright. The coffin is similar to the type used for transporting the war dead home. The airman posing dead in the coffin has chains on his body and a noose around his neck.
Air Force Times reports that the crossed forearm is signal used on the cargo lines for "stop." A similar sign is also used for "cargo load secured." Cargo loaders use the sign because they often have to communicate in noisy areas.
