Occupy Wall Street Protester Accused of Rapes

(New York City) A 44-year-old Occupy Wall Street protester, Jackie Barcliff, has been accused of raping a 56-year-old woman and a 14-year-old girl.

Detectives believe met his 56-year-old victim during previous Occupy activities, police said.

After the sex attack, the victim was tossed from the elevated park space, falling about 20 feet, breaking her pelvis and right arm, police sources said. She was found about 2 a.m. Monday morning.

Her pants and underwear had been removed, the sources said, before she was thrown from the elevated park, which is at Pier 15 near South Street Seaport in Manhattan.

Investigators believe the suspect lured the victim to the area under the guise that they were going to drink alcohol or get high together, the sources said.

Although details have not been reported, Barcliff has also been accused of assaulting and raping a 14-year-old girl on August 12.

Barcliff surrendered to police on Friday.
