Watching the Watchers

(Prince George's County, Maryland) Local cops are installing surveillance cameras to watch speed cameras.

Apparently speed cameras have been attacked by angry citizens. The purpose of the surveillance cameras is to identify the angry citizens attacking the speed cameras.

I have to ask. What if someone attacks the surveillance cameras? Is another series of cameras going to be installed to monitor the surveillance cameras?
