(Jacksonville, Florida) Duval County teacher at Atlantic Coast High School, Danielle Reed, 23, has admitted to engaging in sex with a student.
As a result, Reed was sentenced this week to five years of probation.
She'll also have to find a new line of work - the judge ordered Reed never be allowed to teach again and must be supervised when around children.Reed won't be required to register as a sex offender.
During the investigation, Jacksonville Police also noted Reed tricked her victim's parents into allowing him to spend the night at her house. Officials were able to interview the child and get the full background on their months-long relationship.

(Jacksonville, Florida) A 23-year-old English teacher at Atlantic Coast High School, Danielle Reed, has been accused of engaging in sex with a minor victim between 12 and 18 years old.
Reed faces two counts of sexual battery on a victim older than 12 but under 18.
The victim told police they and Reed planned to stay the night together but knew the student's mother would not allow it. The student, the report says, then created a fake friend named "Josh" for the student to pretend to stay the night with.Reed was booked into custody with bond set at $150,003.
The report said Reed came over to the student's home with a black lab named Dexter and met the student's mother, pretending to be "Josh's" mom.
The student's mother then let her child leave with Reed. The report said the student admitted to telling their mother about the sexual relationship about a month ago.
