(Las Vegas, Nevada) Congratulations to Miss New York, Mallory Hagan, on being crowned Miss America 2013 just hours ago.
“Oh, my God. Thank you,” Hagan mouthed as she dissolved into tears onstage at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.Hagan wins a $50,000 scholarship.
Hagan, a 23-year-old Fashion Institute of Technology student from Park Slope, beat out a bevy of beauties from all 50 states, plus the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.
