Arizona Mom Accused of Child Abuse

(Phoenix, Arizona) A 34-year-old local mother-of-three, Holly Pippin, has been accused of neglecting her children after a search discovered their home was infested with bugs.

Pippin faces three counts of child abuse.

... officers found three children living in the apartment infested with bed bugs "on the floors, countertops, inside drawers and on the walls," according to the police report.

Officers say the infestation was so bad, they had to wear protective gloves and boots while searching the apartment to avoid contamination from the bugs.

Pippin was booked into custody. A bond amount hasn't been reported. The children are with their stepmother.
