[Previous 9/24/13 post]
(Hernando County, Florida) A 35-year-old Exceptional Student Education teacher at John D. Floyd K-8 School, Cynthia Lynn Herr, has been accused of engaging in sex with a 16-year-old boy.

Arrested yesterday, Herr faces four counts of sexual activity with a minor.
Hernando County sheriff's officials said Herr, 35, had recently told a co-worker that she was having an intimate relationship with a minor.

The co-worker reported the information to school officials, which led to a criminal investigation.[…]

On Monday, Hernando investigators interviewed Herr, who told them that she had picked up the boy in Citrus County on Aug. 24 and taken him to a motel in Hernando County. She admitted that she and the boy had sexual contact four times during that day, sheriff's officials said.
Herr was booked into custody with bail set at $20,000.
