NY Woman Accused of Facebook Threats

(Walton New York) Last January, a local woman, Jennifer Morris, was accused of threatening children and their families using their Facebook pages. Walton Schools canceled outside activities and commenced locking school doors during the day.
Parents say more than a dozens children were targeted with illicit and gory photos.
Morris was charged with endangering the welfare of a child with additional charges being considered.

This week in accordance with a plea deal, Morris, 28, pleaded guilty to a felony charge of falsely reporting an incident, a less serious offense than she originally faced.
The deal will likely have her serve six months in Delaware County Jail and five years of probation upon her release. She is also prohibited from having any contact with the victims named in the indictment.
Sentencing is scheduled for September 30 when Judge Carl Becker will rule on the acceptability of the plea agreement.
