Florida Law Enforcement Love Triangle

Edeania Nettles

(Osceola, Florida)
An Osceola County deputy sheriff was fired Thursday in the wake of her arrest on a charge of battering a female police officer she found at a park with the deputy's husband.

Deputy Edeania Nettles was let go after an internal investigation found her in violation of Sheriff's Office policy, a department spokeswoman said.

Nettles, 39, was suspended after she was accused of punching St. Cloud police Officer Jennifer Hoyos, 26, in the face and yanking Hoyos out of her patrol car by the hair.
Presumably, the motto 'Protect and Serve' doesn't apply when a woman's husband is on duty with a competing female.
