Florida Teacher Popped for DUI

(Pasco County, Florida) A 28-year-old teacher at Marlowe Elementary, Kristen Amanda Groc, has been arrested for driving under the influence.

Groc faces one count of driving under the influence and two counts of DUI with property damage. She was collared after she drove into a couple road signs.
A trooper spoke to Groc as she sat in the back of a sheriff’s cruiser. The trooper described Groc as having slurred speech, bloodshot and watery eyes, and smelling of alcohol, an arrest report said.

Groc was made to perform several field sobriety tests and did “poorly” on each exercise, the trooper said. She was also asked to supply a breath sample for a blood-alcohol content reading but refused twice.
Groc was booked into custody at the Land O’ Lakes Jail and released on $1,000 bail.
