Florida Woman Guilty of Manslaughter

(Jacksonville, Florida) A 43-year-old local woman, Vonice Charelle Green, has been convicted of manslaughter for killing her boyfriend with her car along Interstate 10.

Without a reasonable doubt, a jury found that Green ran down her boyfriend.

Investigators say Green and the victim had been in an argument while driving westbound on I-10 out of Jacksonville.

After the boyfriend left the car, car at a stop, Green then struck him and left him for dead at the scene.

Sentencing is scheduled for December 6 when Green faces up to 30 years in prison.
