New Mexico Educator Gets Prison for Student Sex - Update
(Clovis, New Mexico) Yesterday, Allison Draper pleaded guilty to charges of criminal sexual penetration of a minor, and criminal sexual contact of a minor.
Today, Draper was sentenced to three years in prison and ordered to register as a sex offender for life.

(Melrose, New Mexico) A 28-year-old volleyball coach formerly at Melrose High School, Allison Draper, has been accused of engaging in sex with a 15-year-old female student.
Draper was arrested this week and charged with counts of criminal sexual penetration of a minor and criminal sexual contact on a minor.
Melrose school Superintendent Jamie Widner said the alleged victim is a 15-year-old girl who attends the school. He says Draper resigned from her contract coaching position in December.Draper was booked into custody at the Curry County Detention Center with bond set at $25,000.
The Sheriff’s Office says it heard of allegations against Draper while investigating allegations concerning another former Melrose coach who resigned last week.
