Oklahoma Momma and Bloodied Child

(Tulsa, Oklahoma) A local mother, Shanetta Williams, has been arrested for child abuse after her 15-year-old son was found bleeding at school.

According to her booking report, Williams' son went to school Jan. 31 and when he began bleeding through his clothes, fellow students alerted school personnel.

The boy said his mother beat him with an extension cord and he was afraid to go home.

Police placed the victim in protective custody and took pictures of his "horrific injuries and bloody clothing," according to the report.

On Feb. 3, a forensic pediatrician examined the boy and found "multiple linear and looped pattern injuries that were so severe multiple layers of scarring had occurred," according to the report.

Williams was booked into custody at the Tulsa County Jail with bond set at $300,000.
