Kentucky Woman Faces Theft Charge

(Louisville, Kentucky) A 34-year-old local woman, Raynika Robards, has been accused of shoplifting $33.02 in merchandise from a Kroger grocery store.

Robards faces charges of theft and giving a false name.

Robards, who told police she had undergone a recent sex change, tried to give officers the Kentucky driver's license of man, claiming it was hers.

The license had a different date of birth.

Robards was booked into custody. It's not clear if anyone believes the sex-change story.
