Ohio District 14 Congressional Primary

Matt Lynch and Dave Joyce

Big money thrown at RINO Dave Joyce's campaign will most likely lead to his winning Tuesday's Republican primary election. It's too bad. In my opinion, Matt Lynch is a far better choice to represent Ohio Republicans in Washington.

Dave Joyce, Ohio District 14's incumbent, has been endorsed by or received big money from:

• U.S. Chamber of Commerce - supporter of amnesty for illegal immigrants

• American Hospital Association (AHA) - supporter of Obamacare

• Defending Main Street and Ohio Main Street - Super PACs for "big-government" Republicans

• The following labor unions: International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE), United Transportation Union, International Union of Painters & Allied Trades, International Brotherhood of Teamsters, United Brotherhood of Carpenters

Representative Joyce's voting record in Congress shows that he is only moderately conservative at best.
Since he took office in 2013, Joyce’s votes have earned him ratings in the high 40s to mid 50s — among the lowest of any Republican in the nation — from FreedomWorks, Heritage Action, Club for Growth, and Americans for Prosperity.
According to an attack mailer paid for by Defending Main Street Super PAC, Republican Matt Lynch, a Representative to the Ohio State House, has fought Ohio Governor Kasich on several issues, but his opposition could be considered justified. Although a Republican, Gov. Kasich seems to be leaning left; he used an end-around tactic to expand Medicaid in Ohio and also balanced the budget using tax hikes to counter increased spending.

Matt Lynch is endorsed by the following conservative groups: FreedomWorks For America, the Ohio Right To Life Society, the National Association for Gun Rights, Tea Party Patriots, Our Liberty Elections, Lake County Liberty Coalition, Cuyahoga Valley Republican Club, and Ron Paul.

Despite the big money thrown Dave Joyce's way, smart voters should choose Matt Lynch.
