Tennessee Teacher Accused of Drug Possession
(Rogersville, Tennessee) A 40-year-old teacher at a Bulls Gap School, Melissa Ellen Williams, has been accused of drug and public intoxication charges.
Williams faces counts of public intoxication, possession of schedule II drug in a drug-free school zone and possession of legend drugs
Deputies reportedly spoke with Williams who they observed stumble to her seat when entering the office. They said she had difficulty speaking with other.Williams was booked into the Hawkins County Jail.
The assistant principal at the school searched Williams' purse with deputies present, where they found a number of medications in prescription bottles.
