Alabama Woman Steals Medicine

(Lauderdale County, Alabama) A local woman, Carolyn Watson, has entered into a plea deal by admitting to posing as a nurse and breaking into elderly people's homes to steal medicines.

Watson pleaded guilty to burglary charges and exploitation of the elderly.

According to the plea deal, she was sentenced to one year in Lauderdale County drug court.

This means Watson will have to stay drug and alcohol free for at least one year, pay restitution and complete the program

If for some reason she is terminated from the program, the DA said she will be sentenced for the felonies and sent to prison.

Reportedly, Watson used a small child to distract her victims.
