Michigan Coach 53, and Girl, 13
(Macomb County, Michigan) A 53-year-old school coach formerly at Yale High School, Charles Goubert, has been accused of trying to arrange a meeting with a 13-year-old girl to perform a sex act.
Goubert faces counts of child sexual abuse activity and using a computer to commit a crime.
Police have said Goubert, a former Yale High School assistant volleyball coach, communicated with undercover detectives using emails and text messages after they responded to an ad he placed on social media.Goulbert was booked into custody at the Macomb County Jail with trial scheduled for January 22.
Goubert arranged to meet with detectives from the Macomb County Sheriff Department at a certain time and location on Oct. 15. When Goubert arrived, he was arrested.
