Tennessee Woman Accused of Stabbing
(Clarksville, Tennessee) A 30-year-old local woman, Kiwana Zenatia Lewis, has been indicted for stabbing two people and then choking a jail deputy.
Lewis, 30, allegedly stabbed a woman in the head, shoulder and back with a kitchen knife and then stabbed another woman in the shoulder and left arm, according to the incident report.Lewis faces a bunch of charges.
She was arrested on Sept. 26 and charged with two counts of aggravated assault.
On Sept. 27 while in the Montgomery County Jail, Lewis allegedly kept banging on her cell door after being told to stop, according to her warrant.
Deputy Caitlin Swaffer opened the cell door to pepper spray her, and Lewis allegedly charged her and grabbed her with both hands, according to her warrant.
The women fell to the ground, and Lewis wrapped her left arm around the officer’s neck and attempted to choke her, according to the report.
Lewis put her hand over Swaffer’s mouth and nose, and the deputy eventually bit Lewis to make her release her, the warrant said.
Two other deputies had to help remove Lewis from the deputy.
