Dead Voters Help Democratic Candidate

(Memphis, Tennessee) At least two dead people are alleged to have voted in the September 15 special election won by Democrat Ophelia Ford, sister of John Ford, the veteran legislator who was ousted for alleged bribery. Along with three felons, the two dead voters call into serious question the veracity of the entire election since the winning margin was only 13 votes. Lawyers for Republican opponent, Terry Roland, contend that at least 14 people voted illegally.

Although the election has been certified, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has commenced a review. The results of TBI's investigation will be forwarded to a Senate committee to determine whether to overturn the election.

Having irregularities in elections is not unusual, but I believe that the practice of relying upon the deceased as a constituency is exclusive to the Democrats.
