Literally, A Captive Audience

(New York) Now here's a fantasy. I make people sit down, strap them to the seat and thrust my blog in front of them. Presto! Guaranteed readers!

According to AdAge.com, airlines are going to be placing columns from BusinessWeek on the tray tables of airplane passenger seats. America West and US Airways have already bought into the campaign offered by media company Brand Connections.

The aisle, middle and window seats will all have different content with updates monthly. Agreed, since the content comes from a weekly publication, it doesn't make a lot of sense to update monthly.

Currently, the scheme only affects passengers in steerage, or economy seating, but will be expanded to first-class later this year.
