Rated the most accommodating newspaper company for alternative sexually-oriented people is the New York Times, according to the latest Corporate Equality Index of the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation.
The Times Co. scored a "perfect" 100 in the HRC Index. Cox Communications was rated a 95. Gannett Co. was rated 65, and Dow Jones & Co. was scored as 30.Presumably, with a 95 rating, Cox should soon slip into the elite "perfect" circle. On the other hand, Dow Jones apparently needs a hard push to get off the bottom.
