(Riyadh, Saudi Arabia) A 41-year-old British teacher, Andrew Cannon, has been accused of murdering a fellow teacher during a heavy drinking session. The fellow teacher, Robert Colman, 57, never recovered after being hit on the head with a chair.
Cannon faces mandatory beheading in Saudi Arabia if convicted of murder. Reportedly, no Westerner has ever been executed in Saudi Arabia.
It's reported that Cannon may receive leniency since he is a Muslim convert. He converted to Islam to marry a Turkish woman.
