Democrats Stumble in Radio Attempt
The Minneapolis Star Tribune (free registration) has a report about a stumbling attempt by Democrats to have a liberal radio talk show to compete with popular conservative programs. In the first couple weeks, things are not going well. The host for their show, Jeff Gerbino, a local comedian, quit after two days complaining that the show was only a "shameless plug" for the Democrats and the format prevented him from being funny.
It's a safe bet that there will be future failures to entertain us. The venomous Democrat organizers fail to understand why conservative talk radio is popular and, until they do, they won't be competitive.
