Giving Hubby Money

(Asir Province, Saudi Arabia) A female Saudi teacher bribed her husband 100,000 Saudi riyals (approximately US$33,000) to not take another wife.

The wife tried to convince her husband not to marry again but when she saw that he was insisting, she took the desperate measure of resorting to paying him not to. The husband signed an agreement with his current wife promising that he would never marry another one as long as he is paid.

So, can we now agree that a precedent has been set for husbands to say, "Yes, I love you, baby. Now, give me some money."
