Woman Arrested for Rape of Boy
(Noel, Missouri) For engaging in a months-long sexual relationship with a 14-year-old boy, 21-year-old Natasha Renee Wolfe was arrested by McDonald County deputies to face a charge of statutory rape. The boy's parents, who allowed the relationship to occur, were arrested for child endangering.
Regarding the parents involvement, Deputy Marshal Kyle Hill stated, "I asked them if they understood that this was a crime, and they said, 'Yes,' but they allowed it anyway." The parents, both naturalized citizens, are being held by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for a "crime of moral turpitude" which could result in loss of citizenship and deportation.
Wolfe is in the McDonald County jail on $7,500 bond. The boy and four other children were removed from the home and placed in state custody.
[Update 9/10/05]
According to a report citing a statement from Chief Deputy Gregg Sweeten, the parents of the boy are illegal aliens, not naturalized citizens as previously reported. They are being held for immigration authorities.
Also, if convicted of the rape charges, Wolfe faces a possible seven years in prison.
