China Wants Aussie Uranium

China has asked for permission to mine uranium in Australia. Expressing caution, Australian Foreign Affairs Minister Alexander Downer said it will not happen unless Chinese officials sign a whole bunch of important papers and promise not to make bombs or nuclear submarines and such. Then, apparently, it will be okay to trust the communists.

Personally, you could stack important papers all the way to the moon and have Chinese officials sign every one and I still wouldn't trust the communists.
