(Seattle, Washington) A 39-year-old female youth counselor at the King County Youth Services Center, Flor Mari Crisostomo, has lost credentials to practice as a family therapist and registered counselor. Crisostomo is accused of trading candy and phone calls for sex with a 17-year-old male patient.
Emergency orders were announced Monday by the state Health Department indefinitely suspending Crisostomo.No charges nor arrests have been made but the Seattle police continue to investigate.
Crisostomo is unable to control "her deviant sexual desires," the orders state. "A counselor that is willing to seduce a minor client should not be allowed to practice until such abhorrent behavior is explained, if such an explanation is even possible."
Crisostomo is a University of Washington counselor who has worked with juveniles at the county detention center.
