Pennsylvania Caregiver Accused of Sex with Boy

(Ephrata, Pennsylvania) A 24-year-old psychiatric aide at Summit Quest Academy, Elizabeth Gaska, has been accused of engaging in sex with a 16-year-old male patient.
Ephrata police Lt. Chris McKim said Gaska had relations with the boy starting in May at the behavioral center and at other locations.

"Over the course of a few months, the (boy) and Gaska had several sexual contacts, (in) rooms at the facility and while they were on field trips with other patients," McKim said.

An Ephrata police detective was making arrangements with Gaska's attorney Tuesday for the suspect to turn herself in.

The third-degree felony charge was filed Tuesday. Gaska faces maximum penalties of 7 years in prison and a $15,000 fine upon conviction.
Summit Quest Academy treats male teens with behavioral problems.
