Video of Playground Birth

CAUTION! Video contains graphic image of birth on a playground.

The British National Health Service (NHS) has distributed the clip with intentions of scaring teens away from getting pregnant. I frankly don't see it doing that. Rather, it seems to show how someone can gain instant popularity on the playground.

Viewer discretion is advised. It's probably NSFW.

Produced and released by the UK National Health Service, Leicester Teenage Pregnancy and Parenthood Partnership, the clip is considered necessary to get the message across to teenagers. According to NHS executive, Tim Rideout,
"We know this film is hard-hitting but so are the numbers of under-18s getting pregnant in Leicester.

"Nearly half the city's wards are classed as teen pregnancy 'hotspots'."
Rideout said that traditional methods of informing the teen public about pregnancy haven't worked. I would suggest that exposing teens to the problems associated with raising a child might be a more effective deterrent.
