Florida Woman Allegedly Stabs Boy

(Manatee, Florida) A 28-year-old local woman, Natoshia Mellon, was arrested Sunday for allegedly stabbing her 16-year-old boyfriend with a knife.

Mellon has been charged with unlawful sexual activity with a minor and aggravated battery with a weapon.

Deputies say Melton’s 16 year old victim went to a gas station after she began attacking him with a knife. The boy had cuts and a stab wound to the upper body, according to the sheriff’s office. He was treated at Manatee Memorial Hospital and released.

Melton, deputies say, reported that the victim punched her. She had a swollen eye, but, deputies say, there were no other injuries to support her claim that the boy held her down and beat her.

Mellon was booked into custody with bond set at $7,000.
