Postal Rate Hike
(Washington, D.C.) Next month the U.S. Postal Service will
raise the rate for a first-class stamp to 49 cents, a three-cent hike. The new rate is authorized for two years.
Frankly, I think the decision-makers will find a way to make the hike permanent. In any event, don't be surprised if the stamp reaches a buck each.
