Israel Car Bombs Terrorist in Syria

(Damascus, Syria) In apparent retaliation for a Hamas terrorist bombing last month which killed 16, Israel took out Izz Eldine Subhi Sheik Khalil with a car bomb in Damascus.
Police at the scene of al-Zahraa district explosion were seen retrieving pieces of the body of Izz Eldine Subhi Sheik Khalil. The car exploded outside his home at 10:45 a.m. when he tried to start it, Hamas officials said.
Khalil was an important Hamas liaison between terrorist factions in Syria and Gaza and he is the first slaying of a Hamas terrorist by the Israelis on Syrian soil. Israel's action establishes a precedent where terrorists can no longer feel protected by being in another country.
