Russert's Question

I'm watching Meet The Press and Tim Russert just asked General Abizaid to tell which cities in Iraq would see a major military offensive between now and January.

The General should have told him, "Well, Tim, we plan on attacking at X time, at X place, with X number of troops, carrying X weapons, by units with the following X weaknesses. And now that we've provided the enemy with all the information they need, Tim. Should we also offer them transportation to the battle?"

Some people say that Tim Russert is a cut above Dan Rather, Peter Jennings, and Tom Brokaw. They're interchangeable to me.
