Deputies say she was driving a golf cart on the sidewalk near Randee Road and Moon Lake Road in New Port Richey without headlights around 1 a.m.

(Spartanburg, South Carolina) A 29-year-old science teacher at Spartanburg High School Freshmen Academy, Courtney Clark Kay, has been accused of engaging in inappropriate touching of a 14-year-old student.The investigation started Jan. 30, when the 14-year-old's parent suspected there had been some inappropriate Facebook communication between her son and his science teacher at Spartanburg High School Freshmen Academy, said deputies.Kay has been booked into custody at the Sheriff’s Office Detention Facility.
According to deputies, officials with the Spartanburg School District 7 were also notified of the parent’s complaint.
They confronted Kay, and she resigned her teaching position the same day, Jan. 30, after admitting she knew she had violated district policy regarding fraternization with students, said deputies.
As the investigation progressed, it was discovered that there had also been some inappropriate touching between this student and Kay, said deputies.
According to deputies, the touching happened on school property.

Carmean, has been accused of engaging in sex with her son's friend for an extended period.A warrant was issued for Carmean’s arrest Wednesday, and state police took her into custody at her job at the Seaford Middle School at 500 E. Stein Highway in Seaford, where she works as a paraeducator assisting with handicapped students, according to court records.Carmean resides in custody with bail set at $57,000.
The victim confided to his mother earlier this week about the sexual relationship, and she notified state police.
When interviewed by detectives, the boy told them that they knew each other because they attended the same church in Seaford and began having sex in November 2011, when he was 14, police said in court records.
The two continued meeting once a week until August for sexual encounters, the victim told police.
The boy said “he would spend the night at Carmean’s Mt. Zion Road home in Laurel” with the young relative and have sex with her. The victim also said he had “sex in her car,” and at parks and parking lots around Laurel, according to court records.

The 34-year-old transferred to Oceanside High School after leaving the New Haven Youth and Family Services facility, a residential school that specializes in helping boys with emotional and behavioral problems. Officers believed that Watson’s relationship with the boy started after she left the New Haven facility. Lt. Smith, “They met when he was a student of hers, and they later forged a relationship which was inappropriate and illegal.”Watson is scheduled for sentencing in February 2013. The Pew study found that 61 percent of the Facebook users who responded have taken extended, weeks-long breaks from the site. Those who have taken Facebook sabbaticals did so for the obvious reasons: 21 percent were too busy, 10 percent lost interest, and 10 percent felt it was a waste of time.
