SoCal Teacher Sentenced, Surprises Court with Pregnancy - Update

(San Diego, California)
A high school special-education teacher who admitted having sex with one of her former students -- and is pregnant with his baby -- was sentenced Wednesday to a year in jail but will be released early to deliver and care for the child.

Kelly McKenzy Watson, 34, was also placed on three years felony probation, during which she is not allowed to work with minors, and was ordered to undergo counseling.

Judge Laura Halgren said Watson -- who is due April 5 -- did not have to register as a sex offender. Attorneys said the unborn child's father -- who turns 18 in April -- is in love with Watson and plans to be part of the child's life despite a no-contact order put in place by the judge. Halgren said the victim could be present for the birth.
In conclusion, Warson will serve a mere two months in jail -- not exactly harsh punishment.

Absolutely fucking ridiculous. So much for "blind" justice. Let's see what one of these scum bag judges say when a predator whore targets one of their kids to be raped or molested.
