CHEESY RESEARCH

The British Cheese Board commissioned a research study to determine the optimal thickness of a slice of cheese for a perfect cheese sandwich. Dr. Len Fisher of Bristol University conducted the study which found that a slice of cheddar needs to be at least 2.8 mm thick. The methodology of the research was not reported, but it was rumored that Dr. Fisher never orders extra cheese on his pizzas.

The research, however, failed to answer one nagging question. British Cheese Board?
