FIRE CHIEF CANS VOLUNTEER PRIEST

(Cincinnati, OH) How bad does one have to be to be fired from a volunteer position? Ask Cincinnati Fire Chief Robert Wright. He fired Rev. Mike Paranuik because of complaints from some firefighters who argued the priest was getting too involved in departmental matters.
"When he thinks that he's going to be the peacemaker, I don't need him to do that," Wright said. "That's my position, that he should've stayed out of that."
This is a classic case of sticking one's nose in someone else's business. It happens frequently when people are on a "mission from God."
