(Omaha, Nebraska) More and more, frustrated and impatient drivers are exhibiting their anger at funeral possessions. While the majority of motorists are respectful, some drivers flash obscene gestures, honk and even try to join the procession so they can cruise through red lights.
Tony Grazziano, founder of a business that provides escort cars for funerals, said it isn't just young drivers who shout obscenities or try to break through the procession. Older drivers are also guilty. In one case, a pickup driver sped alongside and waved his arms, yelled at the lead limousine and kept trying to cut into the procession to make a right turn. When the road widened, the pickup zoomed ahead, turned sharply and cut off the funeral escort car.
He's been in the business since 1965 and said problems have increased over the past couple of decades.
"I see more disrespect," he said.
Disrespectful morons.
