Concealed-Carry Allowed, Total Crime Reduced

James Drew, Columbus Bureau Chief for the Toledo Blade, filed the following report:
Since the Michigan law that made it easier for citizens to carry concealed handguns took effect in July, 2001, the number of permit holders has nearly doubled and crime has dropped.
Many folks throughout Ohio have been trying to get similar legislation adopted but have not been able to get Governor Taft to stop riding the fence. Personally, I think he has anti-gun blood flowing in his veins and he looks for any reason to blame his nonsupport on somebody else. Read the rest of the article.
