Holding A Grudge

(Palmyra, Pennsylvania) Nine years ago, the Palmyra police told Bill Zeiders that he would have to remove a large snowman from his yard because it obstructed motorists' views.

For nine long years, the perceived injustice of the police order seethed in Zeiders' gullet. Then, last month, he found a way to get back.
The Palmyra High School field hockey team went through town on a fire engine with sirens blaring last month after winning the district championship. A complaint filed by Bill Zeiders said there was no parade permit and sirens are supposed to be used only in emergencies.
So, the town fire engine won't be used anymore for local impromptu celebrations.

It took him nine years, but Zeiders sure showed them. I kind of wonder what Zeiders would have done if the police had given him a ticket.
