Pentagon Rejects 'Gay Bomb'

According to recently declassified documents, the Pentagon considered and rejected the following ideas for new chemical weapons.
- Chemical weapons to attract swarms of wasps and rats to enemy positions,

- Chemical bad breath weapon to cause "severe and lasting halitosis" allowing for easy identification of enemy infiltrators,

- Chemical weapon that makes enemy troops' skin unbearably sensitive to sunlight,

- Chemical aphrodisiac weapon, or gay bomb, that would make enemy soldiers sexually irresistible to each other, provoking widespread homosexual behavior among troops to disrupt morale.
I would like to think that it didn't require extensive evaluation before these ideas were rejected as fairly loony. Any consideration of potential unintended consequences would have been sufficient to reject the proposals. (via Spoons)
