(Flatwoods, West Virginia) A 37-year-old sixth-grade teacher has been charged with having sex with four children under the age of 16. Toni Lynn Woods of Braxton County Middle School faces eight counts of third-degree sexual assault for having sexual intercourse with three different juveniles a total of four times and oral sex with two juveniles a total of four times. The ages and gender of the children were not indicated in the criminal complaint.

Evidently, police officers began an investigation when they were alerted by a family member of one of the children. Flatwoods is a small community not far from Cutlips in central West Virginia.
[Update 3/6/05] Added photo. Also, according to this report, Woods, of Strange Creek, WV, has resigned her teaching position and permanently surrendered her teaching certificate.
