Two state child support workers face a disciplinary hearing after a colleague claimed she saw the two workers having sex in an office stairwell.The pair deny the accusation, stating they were only talking. Disciplinary hearings are scheduled for Thursday. Both face possible dismissal.
Christine Giangola, a worker at the state Office of Child Support in Columbus, said she was climbing the stairs Jan. 24 at the Rhodes Office Tower when she spotted supervisor Marcus Lee and analyst Teresa Mathias allegedly having sex.

Lee, 34, is accused of immoral conduct, dishonesty and intimidating Giangola. Mathias, 34, is accused of immoral conduct, dishonesty and misusing the agency's computer system by storing photographs of Lee.

[Update 3/11/05] Lee and Mathias were fired today. Lee forfeited his position, paying $64,584 per year, as head of the interstate support division. Mathias, also known as Teresa Householder, will no longer receive $53,164 as a business analyst.
